We received a very warm welcome and every communication with the staff was extremely friendly. The room itself was modern, airy, spotlessly clean and spacious. Also, the breakfast was amazing - our server was attentive, welcoming and we received a platter with excellent variety. Coincidentally, we stayed in a 5 star hotel directly on the Cathedral plaza in Santiago de Compostela the night before and the two places should exchange their star ratings. We were celebrating a special moment for us which was completely ignored by the aforementioned 5 star hotel whereby the staff of Hotel Costa da Morte was congratulating us in every way.

They do everything they can to make you feel at home, the welcome was very cordial even though I was much too early, the cleaning of your room is perfect every day, breakfast is good and the service there is also atmospheric and generous. Special thanks to Rocio, you are an angel. Finally, the location: beautiful view and close to the center of Finisterre.

My third stay at Alén do Mar, and I'll be back. Immaculate room. Excellent breakfast. Close access to the beach and the final pilgrim's approach to Finisterre/Fisterra (~3km away), but quiet and relaxed compared to the constant milling of tourists and pilgrims in Finisterre itself.

For a Pilgrim, it's a piece of paradise; for families, opportunity for quality time! It's a beautiful place, with a unique energy! The accommodations are decorated with wonderful details and lots of love; excellent amenities. We tasted different dishes; the food is delicious!! And the kindness of the owners is incredible. A few meters away, and forming part of this complex, there is a swimming pool. For those who prefer the sea, just walk around the Ria, populated by herons, seagulls and ducks, until you reach the beautiful beach of Lires. On clear nights, the possibility of observing an incredible sky... The Path of the Stars. It stayed in the heart. A true country poem, sprinkled with sea air. We will be back with the family!
