L'hotel Parador de Plasencia està ubicat en un antic convent construït al segle XV. L'allotjament ha conservat la seva impressionant i original arquitectura, amb amplis passadissos, arcs i patis. A beautifully restored historic property that has resulted in a place that exudes comfort, warmth and ambience in the common areas and in our room. We had dinner in what was a sensitively styled dining space. The food and service were exceptional. A buffet breakfast with good variety was provided with choices for hot food prepared on an individual basis. A wonderful choice for a luxury experience.

It reminded me of the lodges I occasionally stayed in when I lived in East Africa many years ago,providing just what you need in a very simple and tranquil way. The host and his team were charming and helpful. Unfortunately the company supplying electricity was upgrading something in the supply and had planned a power cut for the morning we left. We were warned this was going to happen and that the hotel would be closing until power was returned. We would have loved to stay longer
