This felt like true, old-fashioned Spain -- maybe even better than I had imagined. The hacienda setting amid olive groves in the mountains, plus pool, excellent AC, and fabulous shared kitchen were all extraordinary. One evening as we were sitting by the pool, a friendly fox trotted over to say hi. And the owner, Marie, was terrific, esp when we mislaid our keys late in the evening. Oh, and nearby Ronda is not to be missed. We even got to enjoy a local flamenco concert / lesson.

Lloc fantàstic, preciós, en un entorn inmillorable, molt ben situat tant per fer excursions, visitar els pobles,del voltant, com per anar a Ronda o fins i tot a Sevilla, Malaga o Càdiz. L'allorjament és preciós i l'Elisenda i la seva familia son uns anfitrions excepcionals, detallistes, molt atents i que et fa sentir a casa. Ha estat un plaer enorme conèixer-vos sou molt i molt genials. Us agraeixo molt la rebuda que ens veu donar i com ens heu tractat tots aquests dies!! Us desitjo el millor, de tot cor. Una abraçada enorme i segur que ens tornarem a veure. 😘

From the moment we arrived, I could feel all the tension from the day just dissipate. We were greeted with a smile and a complementary glass of wine. We had a nice chat with the new manager of the hotel. We were shown to our rooms. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed including a small refrigerator for cold drinks. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the restaurant. Our waiter Victor was really fun and light. He made us feel welcome and made sure we had all the food we could possibly eat. So yummy. We enjoyed a dip in the pool and a leisurely rest on a sunbed. Everything was idyllic. Thanks for a lovely get away with friends.
