We chose Hotel Can Josep for our eight nights in the Terra Alta region because it was a good base for many planned day trips. Highlights: 10 Location 2) beautiful room 3) HUGE breakfast included 4) Outstanding restaurant with amazing food and reasonable prices for quality 5) Maria and Josep are the gold stars of this hotel. They made our trip so special. From working with my broken Spanish to helping us with recommendations and ideas for things to do-- they went above and beyond anything we ever would have expected from a hotel.

A central position to explore the surrounding area, from Gandesa and Morella and to the beaches of El Perello. Spacious room with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Very comfortable. Robert was an excellent easy-going host and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast included in tarrif. Hot showers and fairly good wi-fi. Easy parking in front of hotel. We loved the region of Terra Alta and hope to return before too long.

It was a very nice experience, the wooden cabin was very charming, clean and the camping was peaceful, quiet with nice surroundings.

Great location, host communication, cleanliness and ambience. The master bedroom and balcony gets lots of sun from the morning to noon! Excellent heating system too and fully equipped flat.

La Remulla is a nicely refurbished stone townhouse in the little mountain village Paüls. It has three floors and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house itself has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. Wifi works very well and there is also enough daylight in the living room and the bedroom, thanks to big windows. The owner of La Remulla is brilliant: she takes care of her customers, has suggestions for hikes and to do’s in the village. I felt immediately at home and will certainly return to such a great place.

What a wonderful find , a taste of real Spain set in beautiful hills with views of mountains and river. Lovely welcome from husband and wife team who were very obliging. Spotless and beautiful rooms, and home cooked food. The dinner was delicious and served with obvious pride. Wished we could stay longer to explore the area and enjoy their hospitality further.

Elena was a fantastic host. Very kind and helpful and not intrusive in anyway. She went above and beyond to make sure my dogs had the space they needed and even swapped a booking so we could have the garden just for us.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop terrace has incredible views and we used the barbecue to enjoy a lazy afternoon after a good hike.

This is a wonderful place to stay in a quaint little town of 450 people. A 3 minute walk to in indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant with incredible views. The manager, Cisco, was pleasant and accommodating, he even let us have ripe olives off the tree. You can get everything you need in the town and people were very nice. There are also a number of additional picturesque little towns only minutes away,

excellent chalet with everything you needed , good aircon and amazing shower pressure . best shower ever.
