Beautiful hotel in the town of lot. Close to the via verde cycle route. Indoor secure space fir our bikes. Friendly helpful owners. We had one hour spa included which was wonderful after a day on the bicycle. Steam room was also included. Food was great and a delicious breakfast included.

I like the area, but for sure this is not a four stars Hotel. Not even a 3 stars. To have stars, the property need to earn them. In the restaurants the cup of tea comes without a proper plate. Located 12 km from Els Ports, Apartamentos La Venta del Rome offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 36 km from Tortosa Cathedral. Our appartment had ample space especially in the living/cooking area, the bathroom is modern and comfortable, the bed as we like (not too soft), the heating was needed and worked well. This was all better than we had expected from the photos. The location is ideal for exploring Terra Alta between Horta de Sant Joan and Valderrobres. The most remarkable benefit was the support given to us by the owners, Enrique and Mari. Without Enrique's suggestions and guidance we would have missed several very interesting tours and experiences.
