A very unusual experience - staying in a posh beautifully renovated mansion felt like a treat. The breakfast was delicious, and they also have a well rated restaurant inside.

Everything! Huge room and comfortable bed, a balcony with a wonderful view of the surrounding nature. The hotel has a homey family atmosphere. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Gema and Alfonso were super nice and helpful with everything we wanted during the whole stay. I really recommend this vacation! P.S. Go for a dinner at Alfonso's restaurant, it's really good!!!! Would have given it a 20 if it was possible.

This small, attractive hotel is over 100 years old and located in the picturesque Cantabrian village, Puente de Viesgo is famous for its prehistoric caves and stunning countryside surroundings. We were travelling by motorcycle and the nice girl who greeted us let us park in a safe place in the garden which we appreciated. Breakfast was good. The garden was very pretty and drinks were good value. They do a lunch menu of the day until 16:00 which was popular , but as we went out walking we ate from the standard menu at night. It was very clean everywhere and staff were friendly and helpful considering we do not speak Spanish.

Palacio De Trasvilla is in Escobedo De Villafufre, in the Cantabrian countryside, a 30-minute drive from Santander Airport. It features an outdoor pool, and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. A very nice step back in time, with a really nice and friendly host. The building is 300 years old with character, so be aware that it is not a modern hotel. But we went for the old-world look and we weren’t disappointed. Highly recommended for anyone who likes the quality of life. We’d definitely visit again.

Set in Saro, Akla Hotel Suites Valles Pasiegos has a shared lounge, garden, terrace, and free WiFi. Private parking is available. Cabarceno is a 23-minute drive from the property. Nice quiet location. Room was spacious. Bed very large. Staff were all nice, especially Raul, who was extremely helpful.

Villa Arce Hotel offers a shared garden, a terrace and free WiFi throughout in Puente Viesgo. Suances Beach is 30 minutes’ drive away and Santander is 25 mi away. absolutely gorgeous little hotel in a most amazing and peaceful location. Had the best sleep here :)
