Location - super close to restaurants and shops (2-3mins walk) . Easy access to all the main attractions too by car/taxi/bus - santa claus village <10mins, ounasvaara ski 7mins, airport <10mins. Fabulous playground across from the apartment for sledging and ice skating too. Apartment itself was very well equipped, had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely and warm. Plenty of space for a family of 5.

Excellent food, nice buffet breakfast

I have stayed in this hotel many times. I reserved my hotel and about 30min laters when i cheked in, magick happened. They gave me the keycard whit my name and 2nd favorite room marked on it. they were apologising that they couldnt give me my favirite room this time. But here is the thing. I made a reservation 30min before the check in, and didnt say anything about any room etc. This hotel chain have a lot of hotels,apartments,hostels etc. I didnt tell my name at the check-in nor did i tell which hotel was it or what room did i wanted. and it was before the chek in time. Sure i am regular, but some of the staff at the chek-in where new. still in 30min! These people have to have superpowers or something. glad they use them for good. The service was so beyond perfect that i was shocked and unable to think anything to say. So i just thanked them and went in to my hotelroom. At the hotelroom i was felt bad that the hotelstaff did something nice for me and i only said thanks, but nothing else. When my last day at the hotel was coming close i booked another night (of course) but i forgot to notify the hotelstaff, still they didnt go knocking my door, although i made the reservation close to the cheking time. They probably knew they had stolen my heart again, and knew i was unable to leave early. I have left multiple good reviews of this hotel. I usually think that 1 review is good for 1 hotel, but here we go again. They keep improving and improving. You think that the service could not be any better and could not find any fault, but next time they have always been even better. So i have to brake my own rules and keep reviewing. They have reached the perfect level, for long time ago now they are far beyond it. First they were only polite, and warming your heart with their smiles, now they read your mind and give you service you didnt know could be physically possible, where do they go next?

This is great location by the river. Very comfortable cabin, and very quiet surroundings.

Breakfast was excellent. As well as the dinner.

Great location. Bus stop is in front of the hotel. Hotel is located neer the center of Rovaniemi by the river. Nice park for kida neer by. Room is nice and clean. Food is great. Nice sauna and pool. Free parking

Room was very clean and the shower was great and hot,, could not ask for more on location it was 3 min walk to Main Street with loads off restaurants and bars

Guesthouse Borealis is located outside the center, but all the city's attractions are within walking distance. Rovaniemi is a safe city. Several times I returned to the guesthouse alone at night (after waiting for the northern lights) and did not feel unsafe, even though the streets were virtually empty. During my stay, I had a serious problem and a young long-haired girl from the reception who often came with a large dog (maybe the daughter of the owners of the guesthouse?) helped me in an extraordinary way. When staying in this guesthouse, you can be sure that if you have a serious problem, they will not leave you alone, they will help you.

Amazing cosy chalet in an amazing setting.

Paula made everything to feel at home. Cottages facing river have stunning view. Inside the cottage you have everything you need. Sauna located right on the river, so you can refresh yourself in cold water . Cottages located just 5 minutes from Rovaniemi Airport in very peaceful and quite location. In good weather you can watch Northern lights.

Spotless and have everything we needed, even sauna and washing machine in the room

We had some complications but thank you to the staff it was a smooth transition and a wonderful experience as it was our first time. It was a honeymoon destination that i will never forget with an amazing view and wonderful people thank you santa’s igloos. (Special thank you to sera)

We didn't expect to have kitchen there, it was a nice surprise. For very affordable price it was very nice stay.
