Staying there is great because you are in the centre of everything. When you are cold or do not want to do anything, you can just go and relax at the cabin. Breakfast is wondrerful.

Viesnīca Lapland Hotel Sky Ounasvaara atrodas tieši blakus ziemas sporta centram Ounasvaara, kalnā Ounasvaara. the private sauna, room layouts were fantastic. we had the 2 bedroom sauna suite for 2 adults and 3 kids. worked out perfectly. the hotel lobby is lovely and has great bar food- mushroom cheese sandwich, chicken baskets, chicken Caesar and also reindeer sandwich. We had dinner in the lobby 2 nights as all the sandwiches were around 10€. restaurant upstairs was 19-38€ per main. breakfast was included and beautiful. peaceful looking out the snow covered trees. there isn’t a thing we would have changed. we have traveled all over the world in luxury and this hotel we would return to in a heart beat! We booked a year in advanced. didn’t rent a car, used taxis and tour shuttles and was super easy!

Located on the island of Vartiosaari, this hotel offers rooms with Finnish design and free WiFi. The island is accessed via a 72 metres long hanging bridge over the river Kemijoki. The location of this hotel is very good. Although it takes ten minutes to drive to Santa Claus Village, the environment is quiet and there are super beautiful scenery. My daughter really likes this wooden house and wants to stay here forever. Every afternoon from 4 to 6 o'clock, she can also enjoy a free Finnish sauna. The service is also very friendly, and the breakfast is also very delicious. Our family will stay here again next time we come

Great selection for breakfast. Breakfast got busy at times but manageable. Lovely quiet rooms. Nice and warm. Rooms were compact but more than enough for a base. They were great at putting our 2 rooms together.
