This hotel is located in the heart of Jyväskylä, on the pedestrian street Kauppakatu, 300 metres from Jyväskylä train station. A Finnish breakfast is served in the Silmu restaurant daily. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The breakfast was excellent.

Situated within the Jyväskylä Paviljonki Congress and Trade Fair Centre, this contemporary hotel is 200 metres from Jyväskylä Train Station and the town’s harbour. It was the second hotel I tried in Finland and, just like the first one, everything was fantastic. The room was VERY clean, equipped with a coffee machine + kettle, the bed very comfortable, the sheets great. Several pillows of several dimensions, so the guest can choose whatever suits them best. It was easy to find and had a great underground parking which, in -34 degrees C, was most welcome. Most importantly, the staff was very kind to my dog :) The restaurant onsite, an Italian trattoria, was also quite nice.

This privately-owned hotel is situated 400 metres from Jyväskylä Train Station and is 18 minutes’ walk from Alvar Aalto Museum. It features free WiFi, a 24-hour reception and a bookable sauna. There was enough to eat at breakfast and everything was fresh. Location was central and it was easy to find parking place near the frontdoor.
