Everything, the château, all the rooms (we booked 3 different rooms), the breakfast and special thanks to the young and friendly boy staff who was so ever helpful and polite (more enthusiastic than other lady staff)! The materials and quality of the renovation were impressive too and nicely furnished. Will definitely stay again in future. Despite its slightly higher end price, definitely worth the visit!

Fabulous location next to the Parc Oriental (which we visited). Room was ready early and had a view over the park. Free entry to the Chateau vegetable garden, which was very worth seeing. Excellent restaurant. Breakfast OK but not special for the cost. Parking very close to the building with easy access to the rooms by a lift. Nice period decor to room, with modern bathroom.

We loved this place - so much character, Everything was thought of in so much detail… the rooms were cozy and so comfortable, we really felt so well looked after. the public spaces were also excellent , hardly wanted to go out as we wanted to enjoy the bar, the little courtyard, but we had to see the town ! Reggis was also fabulous and a friendly and gracious host!

Set at the heart of the Loire Valley, this 18th-century château offers luxury rooms with period furniture. It features a heated outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. We were looking for some luxury for the last two nights of our 3 week holiday and certainly found it in this exceptional chateau hotel - large, very individual rooms in a lovely building, with the feel of an aristocrats country home, in marvellous parkland - but it is never stuffy but relaxed and comfortable with a friendly family run feel. The children (grown up) stayed in a separate building Les Frutiers which was wonderful too. Lovely pool area in a beautiful garden. The hotel is blessed by an exceptionally talented young chef Zha Zha (Ja Ja ?) who gave us great inventive thoughtful meals 2 nights running. Oh and the breakfast was great too - lovely cheeses.

The bedroom is very comfortable and I highly recommend the bathroom. The staff is very friendly, polite and professional. The must is the breakfast with a large choice of savoury and sweet food. Great choice of Viennoiserie and cheese.

We have been visiting this hotel for over 35 years and seen a number of changes come and go. I have to say I think the d’Anjou is going through a good period at the moment. The redecoration is tasteful and comfortable, they have some super staff and of course the location is great. The newly restored Art Deco restaurant ( which we remember being a garage!!!) is simply sensational.

I chose a cabin to stay and it was a great choise. I washed my clothes and got them dried in the sunshine. The restaurant was really good, I recommend. My food intolerances were taken seriously, so no tummy problems. Food was really really good. A haven in a lush garden after a hot day on the trail.

Decent room, heated pool for the kids, jacuzzi was great. Staff very accomodating, and excellent breakfast ! We had dinner at the brasserie which was also really good with really nice staff. for families with kids: there is an outdoor play area inside the restaurant. The chateau is stunning inside and out . It feels as if you are visiting a friend - who happens to own a chateau. Tne grand entrance has a view through gracefully tall doors, via strikingly simple topiary and beyond to the pool. The stone staircase (with baby grand) lead up to some of the rooms where each room, be it studio or 1/2 bed has its own salon area and kitchen. (Breakfast available with 24 hours notice). The downstairs library lounge has comfortable leather chairs, with coffee machine and like the chateau, a relaxed and calm atmosphere at all times of day. Ample areas outside with bistro tables or benches to enjoy a quiet glass of wine and a good book, or take a stroll in the woods. No wonder it is a popular choice for weddings with its elegant surroundings.

It's an amazing place. Lots of activities for kids and families. The kids loved all the activities and they were always busy. For breakfast, you can order croissants the previous night and pick them up after 8am in the morning. Very good croissants. And we ordered there every morning. For dinner, the pizzeria is very good, lots of good selection and choice. For activities, there are boardgames, foosball (baby foot), bike rentals, swimming pools, playground and a lot more.
