Hôtel L'Argonn' Auberge is located beside Argonne Forest, 4.3 mi from the village of Varennes-en-Argonne. Guests can relax in the hot tub and in the sauna. The rooms feature a flat-screen TV. Excellent food - as always. Thierry and Veronique are very kind and welcoming. I stay here each time I am in the area. After a long day out in the weather, it is great to eat well and not have to drive anywhere.

Hôtel Le Château Fort is a unique medieval fortress located in Sedan. It offers soundproofed rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, cable TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Was a unique experience to stay in the top of a castle. Our room had a door that opened onto the ramparts allowing us to walk around in the evening. It was off season so hardly any other guests there. Restaurant and bar were closed but a short drive put us at a recommended restaurant. The room was modern and comfy and quiet.

The hotel was also the local pub, bakery and cafe (although they were closed when we arrived) The owner was welcoming and allowed us to use his garage for our motorbike. The breakfast was continental style and plentiful. The hotel was a short distance from the river with some lovely walks.

It has a very good restaurant on the other side of the street which looks over the river. Plenty of free parking available very close by. I came by motorbike and which I put in their secure garage, a very good thing.

The rooms were spacious and everything were of excellent quality. Communication with the host was excellent. The location was perfect for exploring the Ardennes in France and Belgium. Two large supermarkets were within walking distance making it more convenient.

Nicely furnished apartment with everything you need for a family stay. We loved the table tennis and the pool looks lovely - no swimming for us as too early in the year. The location is within walking distance to the centre of Sedan and its marvellous castle. Easy parking and lovely views of the river. A great and very helpful host. We found Sedan to be a great base for exploring the Ardennes region.

Location was perfect on ~20 minutes of the main turistic attraction and the most visited Ardennes trails. During the night the village is very calm which makes it perfect for rest. Room and breakfast: very good value for money. They had a safe place to park our bikes. Our room (under the roof) and bathroom were quite big and very clean (though the carpet ground would need to be refreshed). Helpful staff. We reached the beautiful town center in 10 minutes. Positively surprised given that the hotel only has two stars.
