L’Arbre à Pain Hotel is situated in Altier, a mountainous, calm area, 7 km from Villefort Lake. The hotel rooms are equipped with a TV, bathroom, seating area and balcony. An amazing find. I was cycling the St Malo to Nice route (France en Velo) and Altier proved a perfect stop on the way. The owners and staff could not have been more friendly. My bike was safe and the room very generously proportioned. The food was amazing, sourcing local products while being great value. This was my favourite stop of the entire trip.

Set in Ganges, Chateauzen offers eco-friendly accommodation in a castle sitting in a large park with a heated outdoor swimming pool and an outdoor seating area. The suites feature Feng Shui... I loved the genuine French vibe and authenticity of this gorgeous château. we stayed in the Romantique suite which was absolutely enormous and thankfully air conditioned. The hotel grounds are beautiful and spacious so you sometimes feel as though you’re the only people there.

This place is wonderful, just what we we had looked for: authentic hotel, family managed and a very delicious kitchen. Pool area is super relaxing and we could even go for a swim mid April. Definitely want to come back to this beautiful place.
