Lovely position in a pretty french rural town with local facilities including a small Carrefour supermarket. Great welcome on arrival. Room was large and comfortable with a separate sitting area. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. As with most french rural hotels, the food was menu du jour, with choices for each course, all very tasty. Very tranquil setting and all the staff were excellent and we will visit again. We enjoyed our time at the hotel and extended our stay by 3 days to further explore the area.

Pleasant little family run hotel, quaintly old style, good location if you like peace and quiet. Has proper bed sheets and blankets. Welcoming owner (who only speaks French, and why shouldn't they?) The walk into town is downhill so you may want a taxi back.

Built in 1890 and surrounded by a big park, this hotel features a bar and free Wi-Fi internet access. Our hosts were wonderful, warmly welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a superior king room on the ground floor which had access to the back garden, and was large and very comfortable. The other rooms are upstairs. The hotel is close to the tapestry museums and the main street. Breakfast was generous and delicious, as was the evening meal we had there. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Hotel Ibis style Guéret is located 1.5 kilometres from the centre of Gueret and 2 km from the railway station. It offers spacious rooms, free on-site parking and free high-speed WiFi. The hotel is clean and comfortable, quite large.Great shower/bathroom, a good bed. The room is well equipped, more than enough space to sit and work, store your luggage etc. Friendly staff, one of them even lent me her ice scraper, our rental car didn't have one. Highly recommended. We didn't have the breakfast, though it looked pretty good. My first time at a Kyriad hotel, and I don't think it will be my last.

Located in Fontvieille, near Vareilles, Domaine de Vareilles welcomes you in a former farmhouse converted into a refined and elegant hotel. Gorgeous hotel, wonderful attentive staff. Food was really tasty as well. Rooms are great.

This hotel is set in a 5-hectare park in the village of Bonnat and offers an outdoor pool and Wi-Fi access. French cuisine is served in the hotel’s restaurant or on the garden terrace. Right from the start the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, superb! They were so friendly, helpful and considerate. The food was excellent. The facilities were great. It's a quiet location but there is a small super market in the town and it's a great base to explore the area.
