The hotel was quiet. Breakfast was prompt and adequate. I would stay here again without question.

Le Grand Hotel is a designer hotel situated in central Poitiers, within walking distance of Notre-Dame la Grande and Poitiers Palace. It offers air-conditioned guest rooms with a contemporary décor. The room we had was a generous size, had tea/coffee making facilities and a terrace. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over which had good water pressure. Bed was clean and comfortable, air con worked well. The location was perfect, straight out of the front door into the centre of town with loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. Secure underground parking is a great asset and was around 8€ for the night.

We use this hotel as a stop off to get an early train to CDG airport Paris. It's no frills, comfortable, clean and just opposite the train station with many restaurants nearby. We will definitely keep using this hotel.

Beautiful and authentic... It was tempting to stay all day without leaving the grounds. Close to Futuroscope, and to the airport. Air-conditioning and pool was very welcome on the hottest day of the year. Breakfast was homemade, delicious and generous. Viviane, our host, welcomed us like family. Will definitely come back!
