For a budget hotel in the Futuroscope area, it was actually excellent and especially as we had stayed in another hotel in the same area just 2 weeks earlier (same price), this one was miles ahead of the other and that really is saying something. I'd have rated it 10 out of 10 based on the budget price and expectations but there was quite a serious incident that I mention below and I had to drop it down to just 6 based entirely on this.

The apartment is big and comfortable, it has 2 separate bedrooms ( on the 1st floor) and a living room/ open kitchen on the ground floor. It is located approx 10 drive from the Futuroscope (which is greater value compared to standard hotels in the area). The Gite has parking area and small outside area- both are very enjoyable. The hosts are very nice and pleasant to deal with. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location just off a10. We were driving to Spain, this was a good stopping point. Dog was welcome, no extra charge. Plenty of parking. We actually stayed in kyriad jules verne across the street as pirate hotel boiler was broken. Good communication from booking.com, new hotel was expecting us. Nowhere else to eat or drink in area as is set up for people to visit futuroscope theme park.

Location great only if you are visiting Futuroscope. The room was clean and quiet but the hotel is a quite old and old-fashioned. There was an issue in our floor and the recepcionist kindly accepted to get us another room one floor above. For the price it's ok but don't expect nothing extraordinary apart from the reception team and cleanliness of the rooms.

The staff was really nice! Location of the hotel quiet, the room was pretty clean. I recommend if you want to spend a weekend ord 2-3 days at the Futuroscope (only 19 minutes walk from the park). Nice and good breakfast although a bit expensive for a breakfast buffet.

Great location for a visit to Futuroscope. Free parking and walking distance to the park( quicker if you go round the back). On the same site as the Ibis hotel so benefits from a nice bar area and the option to use their restaurant ( for a few)

Good price for a short night before going to the Futuroscope, tv, individual air conditioning, lots of documentation on what to see in the area, discount in some restaurant with the hotel receipt, fridge and microwave, free parking

Very good breakfast for French hotel. Pool was smaller, than it looked on the hotel picture, but still very comfortable on a hot day. Walking distance from Futuroscope, bus stop to Poitiers center just in front of the hotel.

Located perfectly near the "Futuroscope" and near the main road but in a quiet area. We enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel, and the restaurant nearby. There is also a bakery near the hotel.

location was perfect for stop in Poitiers very close to Futuroscope- 10min walk to the park. apartment was clean and had all needed for an overnight stay for family of 5.

Stayed there to visit Futuroscope, which is within walking distance. Restaurant was closed, but the Pirate Hotel next door does the buffet.

We took the “family room” with 2 rooms separated by bathroom and 3 beds and it was perfect for us. We liked the (very clean) swimming pool and the atmosphere of the buildings (2) even if we were not in the main one. It was quiet and nice for 3 days … In general the staff was professional. The outdoor restaurant is nice and we had a pleasant stay. We stayed a third night .. and we took an extra room for a guest/visitor - with a quite surprising bedroom (so small but less expensive) on the top floor of the main building (still very nice.. with small windows and since it’s an old building we had to take the stairs and avoid obstacles -wooden beam- to access!) Overall, a very good place.

We asked for check in one hour earlier. Staff gave us the opportunity to do it automatically. Very good

This is a property in restoration mode, yet the professional manner in which it is being done does not create a distraction for guests. This property is worth at least one night’s stay and more due to the overwhelming amount of history, culture, and pleasure that is there.

Great location and great staff

Impressive old chateau in the countryside. Large room with many traditional features. Comfortable lounge to use. Hospitality was light. Very quiet. I thought I was the only guest.
