This was our second stay at Plage Palais and only wish we could have stayed longer. It is a beautiful hotel that is elegantly built into the beachfront landscape. The views from the rooms are wonderfully pleasing and calming. The restaurant serves delicious and creative cuisine. Staff are pleasant, parking is easy. We love it here and will return as often as possible.

We stayed 2 nights here on the way to the south of France with our 8, 5, and 3 year old The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. The room was amazing, the nicest bed, view… free Avene toiletries. Our car had broken down en route and the staff went above and beyond to help us. We felt spoilt by the hotel facilities - food was healthy but delicious… breakfast was full of treats for the kids We didn’t use the kids club but we did giant chess, mini golf. The hotel was calm and tranquil, our children are well behaved and I’m glad they experienced such a beautiful stay. Some reviews mention the hotel is ugly, I didn’t feel this at all, it was high quality, clean, modern and extremely comfortable - we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We had family room with sofa bed (very comfy) and they put a camp bed in Highly recommend, we would definitely return - the only welcome addition would have been a spa/be able to have a massage (after the stressful journey!) and also the restaurant was booked up for dinner both nights, it would have been good if hotel guests were contacted in advance to be made aware of this, and given the opportunity to book, but the restaurant just outside the hotel ground by the bridge was great, lovely welcoming owners. Can only recommend! Only downside during our stay was the heatwave that week, not the hotels fault of course but may be the additional provision of coolers/fan can be recommended in future. :)
