This 18th-century chateau is set in a 2.5 hectare park, at the gateway to Bourgogne. It offers architect-designed rooms and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Biggest surprise of our trip. Only chose it as a practical staging post but wandered into a gourmets paradise. The restaurant has a Michelin star and everything is geared to the perfect culinary experience. Our room was exceptionally large and comfortable, the pool and views delightful and the staff simply couldn't do enough for us.

From £99 per nightVery nice home located in the fantastic village of Pupillin, the most fascinating cru in Jura. Just 50 meters from Pierre Overnoy's home and 200 Mt from Philippe Bornard's. Clean, well furnished, large bathroom and shower, easy check-in and excellent Breakfast. Normal size bed, not easy in France. Don't miss to have a walk through the vineyards as we did, turning around the hill reaching Arbois and coming back through the forest. Very gentle the owner, thank you, will come again in future.

Really lovely old-fashioned hotel. Not too many frills, but a good breakfast, and the owner stayed up late to let us in after we got delayed. It isn't fancy, but after the Ibises we'd stayed in on our trip it was just really nice and French and a top spot if you are setting off to explore the Jura on bicycle.

the dinner in the hotel is fantastic. Excellent cook and service is spot on. The waiter Pierre has so much knowledges of local wine and food and very friendly. Every evening meal has different menu and delicious as well. Rooms are comfortable and relaxing atmosphere takes a lot even when the weather was not too good. walking in the woods and hills was a pleasent journey as waterfall passed by.

THe Chateau is a beautiful building with a great ambience. We ate at the associated Bistrot which was very good. The breakfast was a great mix of usual items and some interesting local produce. The weather was even good enough to eat on the outside terrace. The lounge with fireplace was a highlight. We enjoyed glasses of wine on the couch and read our books
