Are stay was incredibly lovely. The staff were very kind and helpful. They printed out the bus timetable for us, accommodated all our requests and created a warm atmosphere. The food was very good. Breakfast was a buffet including croissants, toast, eggs, local cheeses and yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea. A lot of local products. Dinner was also delicious. It generally consisted of two dishes and one night we had fish and the other meat. We had vegetarians and vegans in our group and they accommodated their needs. We were super happy with our stay and highly recommend. The jacuzzi outside is beautiful and we enjoyed bathing in it while watching it snow.

The room is large, but the bunk bed space is a little tight, but it's ok. The bathroom is a little small, but that's ok. The beds are comfortable. Not too hard, not too soft. The hotel is very well located. It is close to Pleney and Super Morzine. It is close to restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel has a ping pong table, board games, pool table, sauna and ski storage area.

This chalet-style hotel is located in the heart of Le Fornet village just 1.2 mi from the center of Val d'Isere and 656 feet from the ski elevators. Free ski shuttle to Val d'Isère is available. We stayed at Hotel Chalet du Fornet for 6 days and the purpose of our travel was skiing. The hotel greatly exceeded our expectations. The rooms are modern and provide a cosy ambience, ideal for relaxation. We also used the jacuzzi/hamam/sauna facilities which were also great and a nice amenity to have after a day in the mountains. The hotel is also very calm, situated at a nice small village with very good transport to the main lifts of Val d' Isere. Most important of all though is the warm-hearted owners, Stephan and his wife, who are always kind and smiling, willing to provide the best service and accomodate every out-of-the-box request of their clients!
