We loved everything about our stay. We received a very warm welcome from the lovely owners. The food was absolutely excellent and the selection of wines and alcohol were all perfectly selected. The hot tub was amazing with astonishing panoramic views of the mountains. The location is superb with skiing almost directly to the ski store, and just a very short walk to the piste in the morning. We were very lucky to be staying with some very friendly guests and everyone was made to feel at home.

Hôtel Saint-Georges is situated in the heart of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, close to shops, restaurants, and museums. Clean spacious rooms. Relaxed charming staff. Brilliant location for cycling the cols!

Best Western Hotel Coeur de Maurienne se nachází v destinaci Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne a nabízí bar. Les Sybelles je 14 km daleko a Croix de Fer 19 km. New hotel, very clean and modern. Easy access from the road and my motivation was to ski at the 3 Vallees. I drove every morning to the Orelle ski lift (17min away and parking next to the lift - but you have to be early to park next to lift). In the evening I had dinner at the town, which is actually a nice small town with very small pedestrian area as well. I loved the breakfast - special bonus to have a fresh juice making capability from the oranges. I am also tracking capability to charge EVs. This was super well arranged here. There was a normal charging station and Tesla charging. I saw them mostly as available. Only one car occasionally charging.

The host, Dominique, welcomed us warmly on our arrival and gave us refreshments while guiding us through the accommodation (kitchen, patio, bike room and our private room). The room was very clean and comfortable. I loved having access to tbe fully stocked (shared) kitchen. There was another couple staying, and we were able to visit with them, but there are enough places to relax (besides the private rooms) that we did not get in each other's way at all. The location is perfect to take advantage of the outdoor activities this region has to offer.

A lovely, spacious and very clean chalet in a great location, 10 min walk to centre with restaurants and Opinel museum. Our host was very helpful and provided a gorgeous breakfast. Perfect stopover before continuing up mountain for skiing! Highly recommended
