Located on the Ile d’Oleron, the Hotel Île De Lumière offers direct access to the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and many other facilities. We had a spacious room, with a large confortable bed, high ceilings, exceptionally clean. We loved being at the ocean, gaving our own space outdoors to enjoy the view. Breakfast was great, hotel has a lovely pool. One of the best small hotels I’ve stayed at.

This hotel is located in its own Mediterranean-style gardens on Oleron Island. It offers a heated swimming pool and is just 2953 feet from beaches on the French Atlantic coast. The accommodation was excellent and the beds very comfortable. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good and always being topped up. We often had the pool to ourselves and there were plenty of sun beds available. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Set in the heart of Oléron Island is L'Echappéee hotel, just a 6-minute drive from the beach. It offers a shaded garden with a terrace. Guest rooms have a simple décor and feature a flat-screen TV. Hostess was super. Friendly and efficient

Hotel Homard Bleu provides beachfront accommodations in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains. A bar and a restaurant are available on site. Our room was a little small but we had all of the necessities and a great ocean facing view with big windows for fresh ocean air. The breakfast was very good with a great selection of options to choose from, and you could choose to eat inside or outside on the boardwalk terrace which was very nice. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We rented two of their bikes for a day of cycling around the island....very convenient and made for a very pleasant day of sightseeing. The location is fantastic, situated right on the boardwalk, feet from the ocean. Ample free parking is available on the road in front. We had dinner one night. I had the lamb entree and my husband had the fish of the day. Both were excellent!! We were very happy with our three night stay and would not hesitate to recommend Le Homard Bleu!!

Facing the beachfront, Les Bains Boyardville - Hôtel et Restaurant offers 3-star accommodations in Boyardville and features a garden, terrace and restaurant. What people don't necessarily know is that the restaurant in Hotel les Bains is wonderful, reasonably priced for an outstanding quality. Call the owner and ask for a room with breakfast and dinner included. The chef will treat you with fabulously fresh and creative food and give you advice for the wine to choose. Due to Covid breakfast is currently downsized to baguette, croissant, juice, delicious coffee, marmelade and butter of course. I love continental breakfast but quickly got used to it again.
