I booked the studio but was pleasantly surprised to find this was in fact quite spacious. Yak Avenir has a laid back charm that matches the vibe in the village. They serve a delicious 3-course meal every night and the bar stocks an impressive collection of Belgian beers. I will definitively come back when in the area.

Le Guidazur ligger i Chateau-Ville-Vieille i regionen Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, 15 km från Molines. Här erbjuds en solterrass och utsikt över bergen. We were hiking the GR5, 2 couples and this hotel was a nice change from the Gites we had stayed at. The patio bar area was so nice to relax and have an afternoon beer. The breakfast was not till 8 so we instead went across the highway to a great bakery. Dinner was fabulous although a little more expensive, but again, it was nice change for us.

Hôtel & Spa L'Alta Peyra ligger i Saint-Véran, Europas högst belägna by. Härifrån är det bara 58 km till Briançon, och som gäst har du tillgång till skidbackarna direkt från dörren. The hotel is beautiful! The views were unmatched and the rooms were amazing. The staff were all so friendly and happy to help us even with a slight language barrier sometimes. We really enjoyed our stay.

Le Chamois ligger i hjärtat av den regionala naturparken Queyras och välkomnar dig till en liten bergsby vid utgångspunkten för längdåkningsspår. We booked for 1 night. The hotel is in a small alpine village high in the mountains and the scenery sensational. Mary Jane was our hostess and everything ran like clockwork. Dinner that night was amazing, (prepared by Maurice her husband), freshly caught mountain brown trout cooked to perfection and the starter of warm goat’s cheese had to be tasted to be believed. The local beer was very good and the local high alps wine we chose was incredible. Breakfast the next morning was a wonderful start to the day.

Perched 1700 metres high in the heart of the Arvieux Valley, this peaceful and charming hotel offers a range of resort facilities, within a stunning landscape. This was an excellent stay. The food was so good. The location for moto tourists was perfect.
