Chateau de Monrecour is located in Périgord Noir region, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley. It offers two heated swimming pools, a large south-facing terrace and a gourmet-style restaurant. Beautiful grounds and buildings, large and comfortable room, gorgeous modern bathroom, excellent service, convenient location. The bed was perfect. There is an excellent restaurant, as well as breakfast with many choices and helpful service. Staff told us about the conveniently located (and free) spotless laundry facilities, helpful after a week on the road. Wish we would have stayed longer at this hotel.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful. It was a great spot from which to explore the area, including the beautiful ancient village of Limeuil. Would definitely recommend it!

It offers free Wi-Fi internet access, a bar, a garden and a heated swimming pool.... The hotel was very comfortable and picturesque with plenty of relaxation areas and outdoor space. The pool was very nice and the ambiance of the whole hotel was very relaxing. I would stay here again without a doubt if I revisited the area. If you are driving there is also free parking and the hotel is very conveniently located a close drive to the city centre.
