Location was ideal for visiting other places and a beautiful setting especially the sunrise on a good day... comfortable, relaxing house and room, very quiet...hosts Ben and V were very welcoming and nothing was too much if needed anything . breakfast was fab especially the toast...lovely local pub within walking distance The Pheasant inn... great value for money would definitely book again.

The Dash Farmhouse offers self-catering accommodation just 4 miles from Bassenthwaite village, 37 km from Windermere. The property is set in 200 acres of farmland and features free private parking. This is really an extraordinary place! It’s set in the middle of nowhere, surrounded only by fabulous views, sheep and other farm animals. I have never been to a place so peaceful and serene. If you like remote vacations- this place is absolutely perfect. The hosts were great and very helpful to us when wu had a mishap with the car on our first day.
