Situated in the World Heritage site of Blaenavon, The Lion Hotel & Restaurant offers a health suite with sauna, steam room and heated loungers. We had a lovely stay at The Lion. Warm and comfortable room, spotlessly clean.

In Crickhowell, the Dragon Inn has views of the mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, a full cooked breakfast and free parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite being under staffed. Check-in and -out went smoothly.

In the heart of Llandeilo, The Cawdor is a 4-star boutique hotel mixing antique and modern styles. It provides rooms with luxurious en suite bathrooms, fantastic food and free parking. The room was clean and comfortable.

Located in Llangattock, the Old Rectory Country Hotel is situated in Brecon Beacons National Park, a mile from Crickhowell. The hotel offers free parking and WiFi. I had breakfast and dinner each day and they were excellent. The dinners in particular.

The Kings Head Hotel is a former coaching inn set on the edge of Brecon Beacons National Park, in the historic market town of Abergavenny. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Nant Ddu Lodge offers 3-star accommodation in stunning South Wales. It has a spa, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre on site. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant was fantastic, excellent food at a reasonable price.

The New White Lion is located in Llandovery. Free WiFi access is available. There is also an electric kettle. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. I spent four nights in a well appointed, quiet and large room with an excellent shower.

The George Hotel Wetherspoon is a traditional, family-owned hotel in the centre of Brecon. It is popular for its fresh home-cooked food, real ales and friendly Welsh welcome. The staff were friendly. The room was well appointed and met our requirements.

Get away from it all at this hotel high on the side of the Black Mountains, overlooking the Usk Valley and the surrounding hills. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. The pool was...
