Situated 400 metres from Highland Folk Museum and 1.7 km from Ruthven Barracks, The Osprey Hotel offers accommodation in Kingussie. The bed and breakfast offers a terrace. Hiking can be enjoyed... We were met by Des who helped us store our cycles and both Des and Sinaid could not have been more helpful and made our stay a wonderful experience.

On the banks of the River Dee, The Boat Inn in Aboyne offers accommodation, a cosy bar and restaurant. The room was cosy and quaint but also very comfortable. Fantastic shower and bathroom and a very comfy bed. We enjoyed having our breakfast in the pub downstairs by the fire. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Dalrachney Lodge is a family-run country house hotel in Carrbridge, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and is approached via a tree-lined riverside driveway. Everything! Used to be an old hunting lodge, and Steve and Tracy have transformed it into a fabulous Inn. Beautiful rooms, very clean, super comfortable-best “sleep” of our entire trip, great breakfast! They were professional, but also treated us like old friends while we hung out with them in their very own bar that one evening. Reminded us of what B and B’s USED to be like back in the day.

Ravenscourt House, Guest House & Restaurant is a family-run 8-bedroom guest house, benefiting from free super-fast WiFi and ample parking. The stay was lovely, the room was beautiful with big and nice bed. I really liked the bathroom, very spacious, and there was a possibility to try local brand toiletry, which was great. All in all very clean and cosy. Also, our host was very nice. I really recommend to book dinner at this place as well, it was very delicious and made from local ingredients. I can easily recommend this place.
