Our host even volunteered to drive us to the ferry when the taxi was unavailable. She was accommodating and so friendly. And the Manor House was perfectly located for walking about Thurso.

This small, family-run hotel has free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is in the centre of Castletown, close to Thurso and Wick and only minutes from the Castle of Mey. So many practical little things in the room made our stay comfortable! The host was so kind and helpful :-) The parking space on the back was an extra bonus.

Absolutely stunning !!😍 Had a 3 storey cottage in the Granary looking over the falls and hearing the rushing water all night gave us the best sleep ever! 🥰 Dinner was delicious and the pub and dining room were very old world Scottish which I love and we walked the grounds after dinner in the moonlight and it was magical ! A true delight as is all of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥂

The Portland Hotel is located in Lybster. Boasting a spacious guest lounge, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Guests can have a cocktail at the bar. great place to stay, lovely room with ensuite and really really lovely staff! Food was also fantastic

The room was clean and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the hot water and towel warmer.

In Wick, in the beautiful area of Caithness in the Northern Highlands, Mackays offers award-winning service and fine food in No1 Bistro, as well as free Wi-Fi and parking. Nice older style hotel, great location, courteous and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service.

Good sized room with comfortable bed, shower/bath and tea/coffee making. Plenty of free parking. Friendly staff.
