Originally built in 1840, Spilman Hotel is a family-run hotel that offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking, right in the heart of the market town of Carmarthen. What a surprise! Newly renovated room, very clean and spacious. Located right in the heart of the city, secure parking for bikes. Best of all is the lady at reception, that also does the breakfeast. In all my years travelling I can not remember meeting somebody as freindly and helpful! Thank you very much again for helping me getting an early start with a full breakfeast!

Situated in Whitland, 23 km from Oakwood Theme Park, Jabajak Vineyard Restaurant & Rooms features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. the property was gorgeous. beautifully manicured lawns and gardens. it was relaxing to sit out on the grass and enjoy a house wine. there were also tables and chairs on the grass or some outdoor couches to sit and enjoy the view. the vineyard is a small boutique one but is well kept and the grapes produced a lovely white wine. everything about Jabajak was top score. from the welcome I received from Steve the owner, to the friendly, attentive service from Steve, his wife Jackie and their staff. the food was absolutely beautiful and well presented. I was treated like a friend and not just another guest, and that is quite rare. the only negative I have is that they only had the one night available for my stay. it was such a pleasurable experience I could have stayed longer. a perfect spot for a romantic or just an escape from it all weekend property. well done Steve and Jackie.

Set in Carmarthen, 13 km from Carmarthen Castle, Pantysgyfarnog near Carmarthenshire Pembrokeshire offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Great stop for us on bicycle trip as the owner and the property were welcoming and relaxing. Room was nice and spacious. We were able to use the well equipped kitchen to prepare our dinner and have breakfast the next morning. It’s just off National Cycle Route 4 on the ridge, so convenient stopover.

The New White Lion is located in Llandovery. Free WiFi access is available. There is also an electric kettle. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. I spent four nights in a well appointed, quiet and large room with an excellent shower. Mark and Karen were congenial hosts who were extremely attentive to my needs. Karen prepared a wonderful breakfast of my choice from her menu. The location is a great choice for exploring the interior of South Wales.

A 4-start boutique hotel with an award-winning restaurant set in the beautiful Towy Valley at the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, surrounded by castles, country houses and the National... We love dinner at the restaurant. It was the highlight of the stay. Food and service were fantastic. The room was great.

Situated in Laugharne, close to the River Tâf estuary, this boutique hotel is known as the favourite watering hole of Dylan Thomas. It was a very nice stay, good location, decor, atmospher, reception, evening waiter/waitress staff and food very good. The room was good, clean, comfortable, breakfast was good.

Just a mile from Llanelli’s centre, the luxury The Diplomat Hotel Restaurant & Spa has free parking, free Wi-Fi and a modern leisure centre. Ffos Las Racecourse is a 10-minute drive away. Meals in the restaurant were exceptional. Julie and the girls were very friendly. Good location and plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend
