Originally built in 1840, Spilman Hotel is a family-run hotel that offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking, right in the heart of the market town of Carmarthen. What a surprise! Newly renovated room, very clean and spacious. Located right in the heart of the city, secure parking for bikes. Best of all is the lady at reception, that also does the breakfeast. In all my years travelling I can not remember meeting somebody as freindly and helpful! Thank you very much again for helping me getting an early start with a full breakfeast!

I was treated like a friend and not just another guest, and that is quite rare. the only negative I have is that they only had the one night available for my stay. it was such a pleasurable experience I could have stayed longer. a perfect spot for a romantic or just an escape from it all weekend property. well done Steve and Jackie.

Great stop for us on bicycle trip as the owner and the property were welcoming and relaxing. Room was nice and spacious. We were able to use the well equipped kitchen to prepare our dinner and have breakfast the next morning. It’s just off National Cycle Route 4 on the ridge, so convenient stopover.

I spent four nights in a well appointed, quiet and large room with an excellent shower. Mark and Karen were congenial hosts who were extremely attentive to my needs. Karen prepared a wonderful breakfast of my choice from her menu. The location is a great choice for exploring the interior of South Wales.

Situated in Laugharne, close to the River Tâf estuary, this boutique hotel is known as the favourite watering hole of Dylan Thomas. It was a very nice stay, good location, decor, atmospher, reception, evening waiter/waitress staff and food very good. The room was good, clean, comfortable, breakfast was good.

Tucked in the Welsh hillside, the 4-star Stradey Park Hotel is a converted Edwardian mansion with panoramic views of the Gower and Carmarthenshire coastline. It’s has a high quality vibe, is clean and friendly. We asked for a room with a view at the front and the hotel delivered.

Just a mile from Llanelli’s centre, the luxury The Diplomat Hotel Restaurant & Spa has free parking, free Wi-Fi and a modern leisure centre. Ffos Las Racecourse is a 10-minute drive away. Meals in the restaurant were exceptional. Julie and the girls were very friendly. Good location and plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend
