We love Northgate House, it is so peaceful and it really recharges the old batteries. The rooms are beautiful in a simple way and offers everything you could want or need, the staff in the hotel are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on site which is very good and offers a good choice of menu including vegetarian options, the food is of high quality and presented very well, breakfast is also available and is very tasty.In short for us it is a hotel that offers everything and we love it so much we will be visiting twice next year and we are looking forward to it.

The Turtley Corn Mill er staðsett í South Brent, 30 km frá Newton Abbot-skeiðvellinum og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, veitingastað og bar. A wonderful stay, hotel is beautiful [the photos here don't do it justice] staff were friendly and efficient and the room was clean and comfortable.

Nestled in a wooded valley, Gidleigh Park boasts 107 acres of mature grounds, within the wilds of Dartmoor. With an award winning restaurant, this estate is just 6 minutes’ drive from Chagford. Everything! We were so sad to leave. We love travel so have stayed in some amazing hotels across the world (including other Relais & Chateaux properties), but after our stay at Gidleigh Park, we realized this might have been the BEST hotel ever - even including some very special Japanese ryokans. What made it so wonderful: - The staff were all so genuinely nice. We had a lot of odd requests (since I’m pregnant and my husband has very specific dietary preferences), and I’m sure they secretly thought we were total weirdos, but they did a great job covering this up - no request was too strange! Examples: 1.) my husband became addicted to Innocent smoothies during our stay in England and insisted on having some every day (…even in a Michelin-starred hotel), so they kept them in the fridge for us and brought out the bottles whenever he wanted to pour a glass; 2.) I went down each morning to have breakfast but my husband prefers to sleep in, so I would request a takeaway homemade croissant for him. This request alone wasn’t too bad perhaps, but the croissants were so good warmed up, so we would later request to have them warmed right before he ate them - which they kindly did… - The food is SUPERB - I could’ve eaten for weeks straight just at the casual lounge (we’d normally try the formal restaurant too, but saving this for next time when I have fewer pregnancy food restrictions, to fully enjoy!). Best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had, with perfectly poached golden-orange yolks (I’ve only ever seen such perfect eggs before in Japan), sumptuous afternoon tea, truffled cheese soufflé, really good strong pots of Earl Grey and Mini Pu Erh Cake (!) tea, amazing fresh fish and brothy beans… all in a cozy casual living room/conservatory setting where they let you open the patio doors, or sit outdoors (very nice if you’re being extra Covid-cautious while pregnant like me)!

Rockmount Rooms & Apartment er staðsett í hjarta Dartmoor-þjóðgarðsins og í aðeins 150 metra fjarlægð frá úrvali af börum og veitingastöðum. When we arrived the very happy friendly owner gave us an upgrade to a bigger room as he had a cancellation. So we had the garden room. It was really nice and modern and had illy coffee for the machine! The bed was mega comfortable and there was a sofa and TV for chilling. It was only 200m from the centre of town so we could wander down and stumble back later on. You can also pop out to Dartmoor in 10mins drive. Overall felt very happy and relaxed when we left.

The food was exceptionally good. Every meal was delicious, and they were extremely cautious and accommodating toward allergies and dietary restrictions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tavistock House Hotel býður upp á gistirými í Tavistock og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna. Öll herbergin eru með flatskjá. Sumar gistieiningarnar eru með setusvæði til aukinna þæginda. Very well decorated with everything you could ask for a comfortable stay. Host made me feel very welcome. As I couldn't make breakfast, there was a packed lunch at my door in the morning. Great touch, thank you

The Queen's Head Wetherspoon features accommodation in Tavistock. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. My handicapped husband was helped by the staff.All the staff very helpful and pleasant.

White Hart Hotel býður upp á gistirými í miðsvæðis í vesturhluta Devon-bæjarins í Okehampton. Það er bar á staðnum og Okehampton-lestarstöðin er í 3 mínútna akstursfjarlægð. Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room and so clean and fresh. We loved having water supplied in the room alongside tea, coffee and biscuits. Really would recommend and would go back anytime.
