Boasting wonderful views across the Stour and Box river valleys, this privately owned inn is set on a hill in the picturesque village of Stoke-by-Nayland, on the Essex and Suffolk border. Breakfasts were very good , made with local produce, I think . (apart from the baked beans). The staff were friendly and prompt. Very impressed. The rooms were lovely and quiet, not too close to the pub.

The traditional restaurant and bar provide great food and real ales.... This was a lovely place. The staff were excellent. The restaurant was fabulous. We will return for sure.

The warm welcome and the location. The view looking over the mill stream and water meadows from our room. The excellent service and food at breakfast.

Situated in 300 acres of countryside on the edge of the Dedham Vale and just off the A134, this hotel is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Colchester and Ipswich. clean, smart, great golf club bar and main hotel bar. Restaurant was great, good food and very good service.

Situated in a small town, this inn provides real ale, good home-cooked food from local suppliers, a fine wine menu and live entertainment on a regular basis. Very warm welcome from Charlie and staff. Nastanitev The Foxes Den se nahaja 18 km od znamenitosti Grad Hedingham Castle in 32 km od znamenitosti nakupovalni center Freeport Braintree ter nudi vročo kopel in brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. Our room was so warm and cosy on a freezing cold night. Lovely bathroom. The breakfast was in the conservatory of the cafe that is attached to the accommodation. It was beautifully cooked and piping hot.
