Breakfasts were very good , made with local produce, I think . (apart from the baked beans). The staff were friendly and prompt. Very impressed. The rooms were lovely and quiet, not too close to the pub.

The warm welcome and the location. The view looking over the mill stream and water meadows from our room. The excellent service and food at breakfast.

Situated in 300 acres of countryside on the edge of the Dedham Vale and just off the A134, this hotel is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Colchester and Ipswich. clean, smart, great golf club bar and main hotel bar. Restaurant was great, good food and very good service.

The Foxes Den erbjuder ett bubbelbad och gratis privat parkering, och ligger inom 18 km från Hedingham Castle och 32 km från Freeport Braintree. Our room was so warm and cosy on a freezing cold night. Lovely bathroom. The breakfast was in the conservatory of the cafe that is attached to the accommodation. It was beautifully cooked and piping hot.
