Helensburgh
The location and the view: the apartment is well-named as the view over the Firth of Clyde was outstanding: but, and not the apartment's fault, the view was visible about half the time! Constant rain and mist obscured it. The location on the front at Helensburgh allowed us access to Loch Lomond, and a visit to our estate, all one square foot of it, at Dunans Castle. It was also close to Helensburgh Rail Station so we rode into Glasgow very cheaply and conveniently. Free parking at the local leisure centre also helped.
From booking in to booking out, our stay was absolutely perfect. Every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and delivered the highest standard of Customer Care. The room was well appointed and comfortable, with a great view across the Firth of Clyde. The hotel Lounge was spacious, comfortable and well furnished. We had dinner in The Rabbit and the service and food were first class. The hotel location on the coast is exceptional, with beautiful views across the Firth of Clyde towards the Isle of Arran.
Another stay at the Waterside Inn and thoroughly enjoyed. Very comfortable hotel with nice, pleasant staff and at reasonable cost. Beautiful location directly on shoreline overlooking lovely beach, beautiful Firth of Clyde and the Isle of Arran. We were fortunate to be allocated a lovely room with marvellous sea view - thank you. Very hearty and plentiful cooked breakfast. Also had nice evening meal one night.
A quirky hotel on the front overlooking the Firth of Clyde, lovely interior decor. All the staff were exceptionally and helpful and resolved any small issues we had with professionalism and a friendly smile on their face. The food was superb, beautifully cooked, just a shame we couldn't stay longer to try more items on the menu.
Room was clean with an excellent view over the Firth of Clyde and Dunoon's West Bay. Breakfast was excellent. I ate in the hotel one evening and dinner was really very good. Staff were very good. All those I met were Eastern European including from Moldova and they were friendly and efficient.
We enjoyed 3 nights at the Glenburn with our dog. The hotel was warm and comfy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a little on the small side but was compensated with fantastic views of the Firth of Clyde. The bar food and breakfast was good.
Given the cheap price I feel that the hotel was good. It's a basic hotel but they know it's not the Ritz and have priced it as such. It's located in a nice part of Dunoon with great views down the Firth of Clyde.
Building is far grander than I had any right to expect. Good location close to ferry terminal. Fine views across the Firth of Clyde. Dunoon town is around two miles from the hotel.
Efficient, friendly staff who served good food. Hotel was clean and comforable and in a great location. Views of Firth of Clyde were fantanstic
Lovely hotel in a super position looking directly on to the Firth of Clyde and across to the Island of Arran.
From start to finish our stay was first class. Reception staff so.friendly and helpful. In the Dining room Jirdan and Michelle were so caring and friendly. Claire on Reception was fabulous, nothing a trouble for her.

Mary is top notch re info, friendly, warmth, hospitable. Long wait for breakfast but got to enjoy the view. Staff v. helpful.
The surroundings are incredible and the staff makes you feel so very welcome. The food is amazing and the whisky (scotch) selection is great.
Had two night stay at this lovely hotel my first time trying it, the reception area was very big and loads of comfy couchs and chairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious for the price we paid and the ground floor room was clean only thing I didn't like was the bed was too hard. Will definitely be coming back soon 😊
Every room was different and extremely clean, and anytime I thought I needed something it was right at hand. All the restaurants were nearby to walk to. The nearby park for kids was perfect. The cheerful owner had a fluffy companion that we got to cuddle. This home would be a great place to stay for several days.
Views leisure centre, pool was brilliant , staff were very helpful can't fault them
The view was great clean and tidy flat would use it again
