Built by a visionary architect in 1925, Portmeirion Village & Castell Deudraeth overlooks the beautiful Dywryd Estaury. Room overlooking the sea, beautiful room, very welcoming friendly staff. Food amazing. The village where the prisoner was filmed was a real treat, absolutely perfect to be honest.

Situated within Snowdonia National Park, Aberdunant Hall is a 17th-century property set within 200-acres of woodland on an idyllic upmarket Holiday Home Park. Staff : Note that our cottage unit was located in a wider "caravan park". Reception service was available and useful. Smooth check in experience. Facilities : Inside, everything was complete and rather new. You will have all you need to enjoy your time there. For kids, there was also small play ground at the park. Hot water running great with good pressure. All top notch. Note that the cottage is located on a step-up hence you will need to take a wide stairs. In our view we were lucky since we got one of the "high" cottage with a wider view of the park. Cleanliness : Clean, and I recognised there was no shortcut taken when clean every inch of the house. Comfort : Bed and the caravan's atmosphere were comfortable and cosy. Value Money : We were travelling during autumn school holiday, and comparing other options around Snowdon, this is considered reasonable. Location : Inside the park and its surrounding - quiet and peaceful. Within Snowdown area, although most things are at least 20-30min away (normal for such a big nature park and area). Hence you must need a car on your own. Others: We are family of 4. Internet was very fast (OK for streaming). We were there exploring Snowdon and its surrounding. Plenty parking spaces. The cottage was 2 storey, hence if you have very small kids, it might not be suitable. Our kids were 4 and 6, they were fine with the steep and small stairs leading to the small 2nd floor.

Nice and private cottage, beautiful garden, and lovely hosts, Paula and Tina. Central location for walks on the Pembrokeshire Coast path, we enjoyed especially the walks on Strumble Head and st Davids!

With views over the beach, Tremadog Bay and towards the ruins of Criccieth Castle, Caerwylan Hotel is situated 10 minutes’ drive from the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Beautiful property and location. Excellent food and wonderful staff.

Situated in Nefyn, 36 km from Portmeirion, Gwesty Nanhoron Arms Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Lovely clean room with ensuite and very comfortable bed. Really friendly, efficient staff who spoke to me in Welsh and were patient with my learners' attempts to converse.

Ang independently-owned, 2 AA Rosette-winning na feel at home na accommodation na ito ay ang tanging hotel sa Porthmadog. All the staff in Royal Sportsman Hotel were super nice but professional — offering suggestions on where to eat, what to do, how to go to attractions etc. They were clearly short-staffed — I saw many of them worked long hours (especially the F&B members) but yet they were cheery and helpful to me throughout my stay. The room was exceptional, cosy and clean. The location was only 5 minutes walk from Porthmadog train station.

Set in 5 acres of tranquil Welsh country estate, Bron Eifion Hotel is a short walk to the sea and offers fine dining, spacious bedrooms and free Wi-Fi. Beautifully appointed gardens and classy facility. Well trained and high-quality staff. Easy walk to the quaint town. Excellent food.

Located in Ederyn, 37 km from Portmeirion, Woodlands Hall Hotel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The location was close to where I needed to be, I needed space to park my car and sailing dinghy on my way home from an event at Plas Heli, the car parking was ideal and secure. The owners/staff were excellend and the food and room were ideal. Thank you for a great stay.
