The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. Everything was well maintained. The attention to detail was very good. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We dined at the restaurant one evening and the food was first rate. Great chefs here. They even created a special birthday cake which was the best we have had period. I could not fault Sneaton Castle in any way.

And it’s a lovely walk down to the town center—a perfect location. It appears to have been recently updated—tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The breakfast includes lovely cooked options including fish and smoked salmon! The staff are pleasant and helpful. Paul and his wife, the hosts, are very gracious and fun to talk to with great recommendations for what to see, do, and eat in the area. Paul has a small, well-stocked bar in the lounge which is very convenient and nice for visiting with the other guests.

The manager and the cleaner was amazing very helpful nothing was a problem if you asked for anything it was sorted we stayed in the Los Vegas room and that was just out of this world first class only regret we had is should of booked longer thanks ever so much guys for all the hard work yous do malcolm and chelle xx

Our room, super king bed, was akin to a five star hotel suite which was spacious with every amenity anyone could wish for. But it was the service with genuine smiles that made our stay even more special. The food was also excellent and the location perfect for exploring the area.

Location was amazing ..... not surprising the mobile and internet coverage was poor .... no bad thing at all as offered the opportunity to totally leave tech behind and tune into the beauty of nature all around us. Food and company excellent. Warm and safe and would highly recommend

The Mallyan Spout is a 19th-century country house set within picturesque gardens with views across the Esk valley. Just a short walk behind the hotel is Mallyan Spout waterfall. Loved this place - we were there for 1 night in November, had a lovely dinner & breakfast. Would definitely return.
