The pub was a gem you wish to find. A proper pub. Open fire, flagstone floor, good food and wine and comfortable rooms. The best were the staff. Knowledgeable, welcoming and they gave my daughter and myself the feeling of being genuinely welcomed. The room was large and a proper twin share room.

Also worth mentioning is the beautiful gardens, friendly and helpful staff and the made to order breakfast in the morning
