All the staff where absolutely outstanding above and beyond. The level of service and attention to detail was exceptional, For the first time ever we ate both nights in the restaurant due to the level of service and quality of food.

The Roundthorn Country House and luxury self-catering Mews Apartments are set in landscaped gardens, with panoramic views of the Eden Valley and Lakeland Fells. First class hotel. Friendly helpful staff, beautiful, comfortable room and excellent food. We were driving south from Scotland to Liverpool to join a cruise ship, unfortunately due to bad weather conditions our itinerary was changed and we elected not to sail. I rang the hotel on our way back north and were delighted that they were able to give us the same room. Would definitely stay at Roundthorn again.
