Just minutes from junction 18 of the M4, Cross Hands Hotel is a charming 14th-century posting house with a pub and restaurant, in the heart of the Gloucester countryside. The room was very big,comfy bed very very clean room . The staff were very friendly and attentive, we ate both nights in the bar and food was exceptional as was breakfast . We will definitely be back especially if we can have room 20 again

Best Western Compass Inn has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Tormarton. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and luggage storage space. Great everything. The room was one of a kind. The property is gorgeous and the staff is super friendly. It is hard to find something that I didn't like about this hotel.

We were attending a wedding at Thornbury Castle and the location was perfect. Close to everything, shops, restaurants and pubs. The owners and staff were friendly & helpful. Interesting place with lots of history and breakfast was delicious!

Set in a rural location, just off junction 14 of the M5, the hotel is perfect for visiting Bristol and exploring the Cotswold countryside. Only used the room and breakfast rooms. Might have used the Bar area if my parneter was able to come. All room I used were well laid out and very clean.

Lovely quiet location. Jennifer was the perfect host. She made us feel so welcome and comfortable.Lovely clean, warm room with all the expected facilities. Breakfast was amazing with lovely quality fresh produce .It was a pleasure to stay there and we wished we were staying there longer .Home from home feel about it .

King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn slept in one of the bedchambers and walked through the ancient gardens at Thornbury Castle - A Relais & Chateaux Hotel, a Tudor castle near the Cotswolds and Welsh... this property is absolutely amazing, the food was beautiful in the restaurant and breakfast was lovely and plentiful
