With stunning views of the surrounding fells, The award-winning Strands Inn, Screes Inn & Strands Brewery all sit in the heart of Wasdale Valley. So comfortable, really friendly staff and very traditional place, with tons of character. Breakfast was fab. Location was brilliant but it was a lot cheaper than the inns at Wasdale head yet only a few minutes drive away. Loved it. Will go back again.

Everything was very well thought out, including the drying and boot room. Great little place. Highly recommended. Very close to Wast Water.

Windsor Cottage is situated in Wasdale. Guests staying at this apartment have access to a fully equipped kitchen. Providing access to a terrace with mountain views, the apartment consists of 1... The location was excellent! What a view!!

The cottage is really spacious with a beautiful and unique style. The bedrooms were a good size and comfortable beds - much needed if you’ve been out walking all day!. Great location, peaceful and absolutely amazing views. The hot tub was a decent size and great way to relax after a long days walking.
