The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We dined at the restaurant one evening and the food was first rate. Great chefs here. They even created a special birthday cake which was the best we have had period. I could not fault Sneaton Castle in any way.

The location is excellent, right on the market square, and parking overnight on the street nearby was free.

In the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lister Arms is a quintessential English pub and AA 4-star 18th-century inn, offering home-cooked food and cosy accommodation. My wife and I stayed for two nights at the end of our vacation. We were both very happy with our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the food was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was especially impressed by their COVID precautions which made us feel more comfortable given we were flying home to the USA immediately after our stay. I'd definitely stay at The Lister Arms again!
