Malvasia Traditional Hotel ligger flott til, 300 meter fra porten til Monemvasia-borgen. Hotellet består av steinbygninger, de fleste av dem med sjøutsikt. The location of the hotel is just perfect, not in a noisy location of the castle and easily accessible. The view from the room was incredible! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was had many options and was done to comply to covid regulations.

By the way, it’s difficult to find a parking space if driving there, and stay at Monemvasia old town, even during COVID-19 pandemic period.

Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and a variety of fresh baked cakes as well as yoghurt, fruit, cheese pastries, eggs etc. The staff were cheerful, kind and helpful. We loved Simos beach, which had the most amazing crystal clear water and soft sand; and the harbour town to promenade in the evening where you can pick a taverna for dinner on the seafront.

We felt very welcome They gave us an outstanding breakfast. And the dinner at the restaurant was equivalent to a fine dining experience in NY.
