When I arrived, it was pitch dark: the street, the house, everything. I struggled searching for the house and the room and the keys, etc. - using the light from my telephone. Finally I somehow managed to enter. Electricity returned in ~3 hours, after that it was OK. Otherwise the accommodation itself, the neighborhood in the mountain and the nature around are lovely.

The family-run Anestis is located in Agkistro Village of Serres, just 300 metres from the Thermal Springs and 500 metres from taverns and mini markets. Everything. Nice, quiet and green. Also the village is very nice and thermal bath are great. For us it was a good choice to stop 1 evening before our final trip back home.

Everything was great. The breakfast was excellent with a strong local flavour. The advice from the host about the local spar was especially welcome.
