I really enjoyed staying at Electra Suites on my recent trip to Samothraki! I only got to stay for two nights but will definitely go back next time I visit the island. Stelios is a generous host and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good trip– in fact, on my first day, he actually drove me around the island himself so that I could visit the Sanctuary of the Great Gods and Chora! Even with the language barrier, we had a pleasant time conversing via Google Translate. The other staff at the hotel were friendly and made me feel at home. Overall, a lovely group of people to spend a long weekend with. I value peace & quiet when I travel, and so I appreciated staying somewhere without street traffic or restaurant sounds that was still close to the amenities. Stelios recommended a taverna with good food about a five minute walk from the restaurant, and I went back there several times. The name was Sta Kala Kathoumena and the walk takes you through the church's courtyard. If you can, I do recommend renting a car or a motorbike to get around the island– I came during the off-season and didn't realize how limited the public transit options were. I appreciated Stelios taking the time to drive me around, but I also knew he was busy running the hotel! The taxi stand on the waterfront is an easy walk- bring cash. I also spotted a scooter rental on the main drag. I have trouble sleeping, and felt very safe walking around Kamariotissa at night while trying to settle my thoughts. Stay aware of your surroundings and carry a flashlight for visibility, as there are few sidewalks in the side streets and you'll want to quickly get out of the way when people are driving through. Wherever you are in the village, you'll be able to see Mt. Saos or the sea. Rooms: The rooms were very clean, comfortable and modern. Alekas Studios se află într-o grădină luxuriantă cu hortensii, la 150 de metri de plaja Therma. Ne-a plăcut foarte mult tot ce am gasit acolo, este un loc minunat, cu o gradina de vis, camere confortabile si oameni atenți si zambitori. Ne-am simțit foarte bine și ne dorim sa revenim.

Amplasat pe un deal, la doar 20 de metri de plaja din Kamariotisa, hotelul Aeolos oferă camere cu aer condiţionat şi acces gratuit la internet Wi-Fi, fiind înconjurat de grădini pline de flori. ...aici am înțeles proverbul românesc "omul sfințește locul". Fetele și băiatul de la recepție au fost foarte drăguți din primul moment în care ne-am cunoscut. Ne-au dat toate detaliile de care am avut nevoie pt sejurul nostru, și au fost amabili de fiecare dată când ne-am intersectat. Curățenie excelent. Mic dejun foarte bogat (nu cum scriu ceilalți)..... sigur ne vom întoarce. Spiritul acestei insule te recheamă.

Niki Beach este un hotel de 3 stele situat în oraşul Kamariotissa, vizavi de plajă şi la numai 500 de metri de portul din Samothraki. Curat, primitor, cu un mic dejun excelent. Personalul este foarte atent cu toți oaspeții. Piscina este curata, insa poți face baie și în mare, chiar în fata hotelului. Hotelul este la 5 min de ferry și aproape de locatiltatile și plajele ce merita vizitate, chiar și de punctul de plecare pe traseul montan.
