I can sincerely recommend Baladinos apartments. Great location both for staying there right on stretch of beach with lot of natural shade. Apartment provides sunbeds and umberellas, and for exploring north/west Crete and Chania. Main road is 2min drive from apartment, and from there it is not long drive for some of best beaches. Hosts were very pleasant, with very good advices which hidden gems of this area to visit. Be sure to ask them for this! Rooms were cleaned daily! Big garden space, all in all very relaxing and pleasant place.

Nice hotel in the best location in Kalyves, on the beach with dozens of restaurants and cafes at the seashore. The beach is very nice with free sunbeds and it is relatively quiet. We rented a car to explore the island and we enjoyed the free parking lot next to the hotel. Highly recommended to visit Rethymno, beaches in West Crete and of course the city of Chania which is really nearby. Ioanna and her brother - were excellent hosts and they provided us with really good information and everything always with a big smile.

Staff was really friendly, everything was clean and in good condition. We rented a studio with a nice side view to the sea and private little beach just across the street. Apartment has everything you need - also for a longer stay. Location was very convenient to visit Balos and Elafonissi, but you need a car of course. Falasarna beach and some good taverns are less than 10min away with a car! I would recommend this to anyone who is staying in the West Crete. 10/10 !

Our stay was great, new hotel, well designed, lovely sea view. The rooms are pleasant and very clean, huge beds, clean and soft sheets and towels, great showers and high-quality toiletries. There is enough storage space, good lighting, efficient air conditioner. The staff is very kind and helpful, the breakfasts are varied and very tasty. We enjoyed the beautiful and clean pool and the gym. A good base for travelling around Chania and West Crete.

We had a nice stay here. 5 nights in the two bedroom apartments and 6 in the studio for 3 adults. It was much more comfortable in the apartment sure. All was very clean, nice pool, the garden and perfect location for a visiting Nord-West Crete (Afrata Falassarna, Elafonissi, Balos Beach, Chania, Lake Kournas, Limnopolis if you have kids and much more...) but you need a car.

Very quiet hotel, with really nice pool and view to the sea. The staff was very friendly and reactive to our questions. This is a good place to explore the area of west Crete (Balos...) and have a good rest at night. We had no private pool, but they are in front of the parking (for some rooms) and we could see them when we parked ... So no regrets not to have one !

Edouard is one of the greatest host which I have ever met. He was kind, charmy and taking care of his guests in a wonderful way! Whatever we asked for, he was always available so I am truly impressed! Hotel is located in quiet area which is a great starting point for the most recognized places in West Crete. I do recommend you to stay in Arion Hotel!

We found the hotel last minute, we wanted a base to explore the beaches around west crete and this hotel is perfect for it. The staff super friendly, breakfast 5 star, the room is well equipped and clean. The overall experience was perfect thank you. They even made me a birthday welcome:) i hope we meet again!

Everything about our stay at Zefyros apartments was excellent! The hosts were really kind and helpful, the apartment was very clean and the sea view was amazing. I recommend it to everyone seeking an escape from the noisy towns. The location is excellent for discovering the most famous beaches of west Crete!

Spacious and well furnished apartment in a peaceful location, practical to discover West Crete. The host is very kind and we really appreciated tasting the eggs from her chicken. The property is at 5 minute walking distance from a very nice green tavern right on the beach of Drapanias. Highly recommended.

Small privately operated hotel on the beach. Great location for travelling to Chania and other West Crete destinations. Kitchenette is great if you are into enjoying cooking with fantastic Greek groceries. The back door opens to the sandy beach with free sets and amazing shallow sea.

this must be the best place of west Crete/chania , strategic located to explore area. great room with seaview and Nice balcony, restaurants in area but also in hotel and to top it off: Amazing friendly staff, great bar , great swimming pool, what more do you need ? thanks team.

Nektaria is a wonderful person, she is super nice and helpful, provided all information I needed. I liked apartment, comfortable and with all necessary equipmens. Good to start day with coffee and bath in swimmingpool, perfect location to explore west Crete🌍

The place is a good hub for exploring west Crete. The owner Babis seems really nice and he makes sure you know that he’s there if you need his assistance. The apartment is meticulously cleaned and has everything you could need during your stay.

Very kind host, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed, the location was perfect for us to discover west Crete (with car). During our holiday in Crete we stayed in 5 apartments in 5 different places, but this was the best.

Comfortable, modern, clean, well equipped apartment right at the beginning of the beach. All is accessible on foot. A great base for exploring southwest Crete. Worth coming back for.

Beach is very close and it is not crowded. Location of the apartment is good starting point to all the famous beaches and sightseeings of west crete. The owner is very kind lady.
