Facing the beachfront, LUA Resort - Adults only offers 5-star accommodation in Balatonfüred and has a shared lounge, terrace and restaurant. The facilities of my room having a private sauna was exceptional. The quality of food was excellent and the friendliness of the staff and overall experience has been so good we decided to change our holiday plans and book into the highest grade suite for an extra 2 nights. This is an honest review and not sponsored but its the best review i have ever given any hotel.

The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. The facility had a very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious breakfast - it's worth coming here just to get the breakfast, here you can find the Hungarian specialties like spicy sausage, langose, crispy bread etc.

Everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They had someone, free of charge, pick us up at the train station. When a pipe in the bathroom broke they moved us to another room. The room they moved us to, they felt had a better view of the lake and the sale boats. Which it did. The area we stayed in is not a tourist area, it is a very small village with beautiful homes. The train station is about 3K but there is a trolly 1K. Either way if you perfer a Taxi they will try to obtain one for you.

Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo nell'accoglierci e ci ha fatto trovare dei cioccolatini e delle fresche sorprese nel frigorifero...particolarmente gradite da chi come noi arrivava, piuttosto stanco, da Tihany in bicicletta. E ci ha messo a disposizione il suo personale garage per custodirle. Se ne avremo la possibilità torneremo volentieri anche con le nostre famiglie. Grazie di tutto

All in all we had a wonderful time. Plenty of excellent hungarian food. Recommended for families with kids. Nice kids area with entertainment. Kids swimmingpool/ play section. Supervised with lifeguards. Own private beach with access to the lake. Huge area where you can use readily avialable sunbeds. Food / bar close to the beach.Can it be better? Possible to rent sup, kayak, small electric cars. The hotel was busy as it gets, especially with some of the elevators being repaired - this can be irritating for some people.Working AC in the room. Polite, helpful and attentive staff.

Personnel are kind, polite and warm. The superior room is comfortable, clean and with a nice view on Balatonfüred and the lake Balaton. Buffet breakfast and buffet evening meal are various and let you have a taste of hungarian cuisine. The position of the hotel is central: close to the wonderful Tihany, a few minutes on foot from the railway station, the bus stations and the cycle lanes.

Piaciuto niente e niente poteva piacere una camera freddo piena di inseti senza pavimento pagata quasi 90 euro e mio figlio e andato via con la bambina piccola e neanche hanno chiesto scusa non si parla di rimborsare i soldi questa camera l'ho presa appositamente perche c'era la bambina piccola
