I've stayed in this hotel with friends and with family and it's great for both. The pool is a favourite with our kids and the staff are always lovely and so helpful. Our eldest child has additional needs and they are so interactive and understanding which makes our stay and experience so much easier. The chap on reception when we arrived was so nice and welcoming and the girls over the weekend so lovely from reception, to pool, to cleaning staff everyone is so nice. We love Portlaoise.

Amazing hotel with friendly staff. There was nothing I could say negative about the Hotel and service provided. It exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were great, comfortable and clean. Very spacious too. The pool and all of the facilities were excellent and an added bonus. The food was so so good, and the staff were kind, polite attentive, they just made us feel so welcome. I will definitely be back soon. If your in Portlaoise you have to visit the Hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Killeshin Hotel is situated on the outskirts of portlaoise. It is a fine hotel with a lovely lobby that has a coffee Dock. The bedrooms were spacious and well equipped for a person in a wheelchair..Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed delicious food both for breakfast and dinner. . The staff were friendly helpful and efficient. We enjoyed our stay & would recommend this fine hotel

It is an almost 200 years old building so it has a special atmosphere what i liked. The host of the hotel is very nice person. Also the location of the property is very good, because it is close to main street with small shops and pubs and it is very close to rail station, what is very comfortable if you come to Portlaoise by train.

It's a beautiful house on very peaceful grounds. The rooms are well appointed with tasteful decor and modern bathrooms. The host James was very helpful and cooked a very nice breakfast with homemade marmalade. It was better value than the hotels in Portlaoise and definitely a nicer experience.

A charming hotel in the heart of Co Laois. Great location, very near to Abbeyleix Town. Very nice room, beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty and there was plenty of choice. Lots of car parking space. Restaurant, bar and cafe on sight.

Lovely and cosy cottage.great communication from the owner. Very clean and very close to the heritage hotel in laois where we were attending a wedding. Lovely taxi service to and from the hotel. Great value for money

Clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated, comfortable. Loads to do both at the hotel and around Laois. Staff were superb. Very friendly and completely professional. Food was delicious.

The staff super friendly and go over and beyond to help the hotel itself is super clean and comfortable I couldn't recommend a better place to stay around laois

Very welcoming and helpful. Accommodation was really great with lots of character. Off-street parking was large, and while the driveway was tricky, our host helped us out. Lovely spring flowers in the garden.

Reception was exceptional Rooms fantastic Breakfasts, fit for a "king" OUTSTANDING and well recommended
