Located on the outskirts of Thurles town, Anner Hotel and its leisure centre is a pleasant base with friendly staff, fine food and plenty of comforts. Nice comfortable room. Beds comfy. Great swimming pool which the grand kids loved! Good location for our trip.

Located just off the N7, the Abbey Court features an award-winning restaurant, a modern leisure centre and full Irish breakfasts. Free parking is also available. Lovely surrounds, lovely, large room; reception and dining staff (Orlagh ?sp) exceptional. Earlier in Dublin, I had hurt my wrist quite badly reception immediately provided an ice pack and bandage. A food allergy immediately met with concern in the dining room and every effort made to accommodate. 10/10!

A great place with fantastic views and a good starting point of several mountain trails in a very picturesque area.

Featuring free WiFi, Mulcahys is set in Clonmel, 48 km from Christ Church Cathedral and 48 km from Reginald's Tower. Centrally located, enormously friendly and helpful people, nice bar & restaurant with great fresh food. Probably the most comfortable beds we had on our trip to Ireland. Very tidy & big rooms. We recommend this place. Definitely go visit St Patrick’s Well in the neighbourhood, relaxing surroundings.

Baileys Hotel is a listed Georgian building located in the heart of Cashel town. It offers luxurious, refurbished rooms, fine dining, and views of The Rock of Cashel. you think it’s quite small, then you go to the restaurant & bar & it’s huge- loved lift, you went in one way arrive at your floor and another door opened, never seen that before.

This beautiful old Georgian house from 1832 has views of the River Suir, and 3.5 acres of gardens at the foot of the Comeragh Mountains. From the moment I arrived I was treated like a member of the family. I was asked many times if I needed anything to eat or drink especially after my long flight. The staff could not do enough for me. Even with the construction going on, which btw I didn’t mind it’s lovely to see this old house being well taken care of. But if I wanted they would have moved me to the front of the house so the construction would not bother me. The food was amazing, the staff amazing but the house it’s self stunning like stepping back in time. This old house has so much history and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is situated along the river suir. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Probably one of the best value for the money in the region of Cashel, we very much appreciated to have in one place a large indoor leisure/pool/spa facility as well as an historic Pub, all in the confort of a real 4 Stars Hotel ! Plus some nice boutique and bakery, nice personnel everywhere, good food... A really nice place, we warmly recommend.

Cahir House Hotel is on the town square, by the River Suir. It has a traditional bar, a bistro and a beauty salon, and offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. Cahir House Hotel is just a few steps away from the castle. From our room, we could see the castle lit up at night. Great for dreaming of knights and fair maidens. The beds are comfortable, but we arrived in a heat wave, and the poor little fan couldn't cool down the room. We were very fortunate to arrive at Trad Fest, so sitting in their bar and restaurant, we were entertained with live music. If you are staying at the hotel, have your meals there. The food is exceptional. Just like the food, the service is wonderful. A big thank you to Finnbarr for always checking to ensure my meals were gluten-free and my wine glass was full. I would definitely recommend this as a good location to see Rock of Cashel, swiss Cottage, Cahir Castle, and Jerpoint Abbey and so much more You can start your day with a full Irish breakfast or a buffet breakfast, which was included in our stay. then return at the end of the day for the wonderful dinner in a pub like atmosphere.
