With a beautiful, peaceful location and stunning lake views over Lough Ree, this 4-star hotel offers total relaxation, with good food, great wine, spa treatments and luxurious air-conditioned rooms. Beautiful setting on a nice lake. The outdoor spaces, especially the hot tub on the docks and fireplace were so nice.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... The rooms looked just like in the pictures, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were nice and clean - only the stone plate on the sink was not good levelled, so the water was always running down on the right-hand side, when washing hands. And a handheld shower would have been nicer than a stationary one. But that really were only minor issues. The rooms had a view over the gardens, which was very nice and quiet. The hotel, the entrance, the breakfast room and the bar were really nice and we really felt comfortable. We can understand, why this hotel is a good venue for wedding celebrations. The hotel even has lifts, so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs (not something every hotel has in Ireland) and a vending machine for mineral water and other things. And last but not least the staff was really friendly, helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would choose the hotel again when we were in the area.

Set within calm surroundings of lawns and gardens close to Roscommon Town Centre, this charming 18th-century manor house has a leisure centre, award-winning restaurant and free parking. Amazing location, beautiful building inside and out . Food was fabulous. Parking was a treat as just outside door of hotel .

The Staff were lovely and very helpful from start to finish.Its a beautiful hotel very clean,fantastic location for shopping,there is lovely spa facilities in the hotel would highly highly recommend for a stay in Athlone

Nestled in Monksland, a residential suburb of Athlone town, The Athlone Springs Hotel is less than a 6-minute drive from Athlone town centre. the room was very big and beatiful amazing bathroom!!

This 4-star hotel has a Championship golf course and is 5 miles from Athlone. All newly reformed rooms at the Glasson Lakehouse have free Wi-Fi, TVs and a room service menu. The style, design, and comfortable resort is first rate. We loved the different areas to relax or explore: beautiful golf course, outdoor living room styled bar, cute pub, plus gorgeous countryside walks.

Great property, as we were to leave for airport the next day the location was great. The staff were great, arrived early and they had a room ready. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic.
