Nice hotel, friendly staff and very good location with a lot of trees around, it is hardly to see so many trees in Iceland. We liked our stay there and will be back if we re-visit Iceland.

Situated in central Akureyri, Centrum Hotel offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Akureyri Public Swimming Pool is 500 metres away. Great guesthouse located right in the heart of Akureyri with access to shops, restaurants, and pleasant walks throughout the city. Numerous parking accommodations nearby as well, with friendly staff explaining the process. The guesthouse itself is also attached to a restaurant for those wanting to dine without traveling too far, and an elevator in the back of the restaurant up to the rooms. The interior of the guesthouse to the rooms themselves were very clean and modernized, with cute quotes adorning the walls. I had a great view over the city streets as well from my room. Very pleasant for a one night stop during my Ring Road trip. Takk!

Wonderful hotel. Designed tastefully with movie posters and quotes all around the corridor. Keyless entry so had no interactions with any staff. Room had guitar and a music box which was nice Overall a good experience

This family-run hotel is found along the Ring Road/Route 1, 14 km outside Akureyri. It offers a hot tub, sun terrace and views of Eyjafjördur. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Super friendly staff, the owner really loves his property, it's a beautiful, very well maintained land with amazing sights. The dinner was exquisite, the spa area is very relaxing

Comfortable beds. Obviously newly renovated room. Great breakfast. Employees helpful and kind. Hotel location could not be better. Walking distance to restaurants and Main Street. Definitely stay there again.
