Kind lady at the front desk let me check in way before check-in time since i was feeling really sick. Room was spacious, clean, and service was really nice. Hotel in Keflavík
We are located in a walk-able downtown of Keflavík and only a mere 5-minute drive from KEF Keflavik International Airport. WiFI is available through out public space and guest rooms. The service desk night manager was a wonderful woman who took great care of all her guests despite the stress of tens of guests coming in from the airport due to a cancelled plane. Iceland air had done a horrible job helping their stranded guests and hardly anyone had got their vouchers. She still tried her very best to help everyone get accommodations. She kept control on who was next in line without us having to actually stand in line. She took great care of everyone and when she saw that I could barely walk, she pulled out a wheelchair for me. I greatly appreciate her help and her great care of us.

Everything was just the way it's supposed to be.

Reykjanes Tours provided a great overview of the area! Lots of variety to see. Had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Duus.
There are many nice locations to visit at the Reykjanes peninsula like the Blue Lagoon, the coastline and at least two geothermal areas.
Nice little plce by the sea, convenient for visiting Reykjanes paninsula or for staying after/ before your flight
Small quiet town which is a great jumping off point for exploring the geothermally active Reykjanes Peninsula. 10 min drive to KEF airport.
On another trip to Iceland I might stay a night or two in Keflavik to explore the Reykjanes Peninsula more. We only had a few hours there at the end of our trip, and there was so much to see. Keflavik itself is less touristy than Reykjavik but seemed to have an interesting assortment of restaurants and such. We ate at Duushus (sp?), and it was very good.
Nice little quiet town very close to Iceland's international airport. It's vicinity to the airport, Blue Lagoon and the Reykjanes national Park makes it worthwhile to stop over here more than 1 night.
If you are renting a car, this is the cloest town and very easy to get around. There are a couple of amazing museums and fun places to eat. The Blue Lagoon is just a short drive away. The airport in also nearby. So if you want to explore this part of the isalnd, this is quiet alternative.
Quiet town at the very end of the Reykjanes Peninsula. Not much light pollution, could be a good spot for watching the northern. Great for your last few days of exploring Iceland as it's near The Blue Lagoon as well as Keflavik Airport.
Most people go straight into Reykjavik. This time I spent a night here and explored the geothermal sights and Reykjanes. Where else can you stand between two continental plates? Also, the Blue Lagoon is 15 minutes away.
Close to Keflavík. Great place after touring a day on the Reykjanes peninsula before the airport. Very good seafood restaurant stays open to 900 pm.
Sandgerði
Our stay at Comfort and Rest was phenomenal. The host was extremely friendly and responsive. She really thought of everything. The apartment is just a beautiful as the pictures and very well stocked. The hot tub was even ready for us when we arrived. The location is perfect, close to the airport and on very tip of the beautiful Reykjanes Peninsula. The sunset view of the ocean was incredible. We stayed here for one night at the end of our trip and we only wish we had stayed here at the beginning as well instead of in downtown Reykjavik.
Everything was perfect. Worth the price as it is literally right next to the terminal. All you have to do is walk over. Breakfast starts very early in the morning for those who want it. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. From the 7th floor we even had a pretty nice view over the end of the Reykjanes peninsula and the sea which was a nice little bonus for our last night in Iceland. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I had an early morning flight.
It isn't only handy for the airport (which is why I first chose the hotel, but have now stayed there 4 times) but it's a great location for visiting the Reykjanes peninsula (with the volcano!), Reykjavik and further afield. There's also a very friendly team running the hotel. Oh, it is also a great place to stay when you have an early fight!
Close to the airport and good to explore the Reykjanes and volcano area. Nice personal. We checked in at our first vacation day after arrival, had a nice soup for dinner right at the hotel and got up early to start our unforgettable volcano hike.
Nice people, nice location, parking... good place.
The rooms were clean, comfortable and the staff were amazing!
Andi and Yuki are fantastic hosts, they make you feel at home since the first moment you walk in their gueshouse. Top living room for reading and relaxing and beautiful outdoor hot jacuzzi to watch the stars. Totally recommended!
Clean, cosy and quite. Well equipet. Short distance from the airport, very suitable for late ariavles or early departures.
This owner really goes the extra mile, plenty of shampoo, towels, coffee, tea, a snack, fridge, some cuttlery. We felt really welcome and taken care of!
Very warm and cozy cabin. Check-in was easy as well as the communication with the hosts. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed, was close to the ocean and had an awesome hot tub. Would have liked to stay even longer!
Cleanness, comfy bed, free parking, view to the bay
Allt saman elska þetta hótel❤️
This was a great location for viewing Northern lights and getting around. The house was very comfortable and so cute. We would highly recommend!
