Hótel Vellir is a 3-star property situated on the outskirts of the capital city and only 36 km from the airport. Clean, comfortable room with extra view on the fireworks in the area. The breakfast was quite basic, but fresh and really tasty. The localization was very convenient to us, very nice and helpful staff.

I arrived late, but was serviced fast and quickly, the room was very comfortable and very clean and nice for the price I will definitely come there again

This Viking-themed hotel is located at the harbour in the seaside town of Hafnarfjordur. Humpback whales can sometimes be spotted in the harbour during winter. The staff is amazing. So friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but very cozy. Bathrooms the same. Small, but good enough. Location is perfect. Breakfast was quite extensive.

The horses across the road that would stare at us as we walked to our car in the morning, and make the best horse noices!
